I’ve noticed that clients tend to use either online or PDF forms. The decision will depend on many factors, but we believe that a hydrid approach is often the best way forward. For example, imagine that a lengthy form is required. It is a bit of an ask to expect people to move from page to page on an online form, also a lengthy PDF can be daunting to many people. A hybrid form establishes a ‘gateway’ form online. When submitted, this form will pre-populate a PDF form with user data which is emailed back to the user. They can then complete the form at their leisure, enjoying the fact that 20% of the form has already been completed.
